Today was a normal Monday afternoon in Pullman, WA for me.  It was a busy day at the office, I drove to a couple of listings to check on the properties, checked my email and then I was off to pick up my daughter after school.  As I pulled out of my office parking lot, I rushed to her elementary school as I only had a little bit of time before the school bell rang.

I sat in my car, waiting for the cars to slowly move forward, I caught up on my voicemails from a new Buyer (yeah!), a builder with questions and my hubby.  As I pulled forward, I was thinking of what still needed to be done from my office at home.  Another crazy Monday.  And then, the door opens, my daughter jumps in and says with a huge grin on her face, “I have a NEW CLIENT FOR YOU, MOMMY!  I couldn’t help but smile and I said, “Really?”

She proceeded to tell me that one of the helpers at school was looking for a home to RENT with her husband and that she had told her to call me.  The lady had agreed that she would do that.  I tried to clarify….”You mean she’s looking for a house to BUY?” 

“NO mommy, to RENT”, and her smile was so big and so full of pride that I said, “Thank You Honey, I look forard to speaking to her”.   Another special Monday picking up my daughter!

YEAH!  It’s a New Year!  I AM SO HAPPY! And I AM READY FOR IT!  It’s the best time to jump into your work resolutions, and new opportunities!  It was an interesting business year for me, as it was for many of us, I’m sure.  There was much change in my business and I’ve looked forward to what the new year offers.  I love the new possibilities, the opportunities and the fresh attitude that is the New Year.  It is a time of celebration, commitment, and hard work!  It’s a fantastic time for BUYERS AND SELLERS TO MAKE A MOVE!  Looking forward to what lies ahead!  Happy New Year to all!
