I’m looking forward to Tuesday, March 2, 2010.  It’s the date of our next General Meeting of the Whitman County Association of REALTORS.  As the VP of our Association, I am responsible for inviting guests to speak to the group of REAL ESTATE agents.  For this meeting we have invited FIFTEEN GUESTS!

mentors

WHO are they you ask…?  They are our MENTORS!  They are long time members of our Association.  They are experienced REALTORS in the Pullman, WA area.  Each one of these guests have at least twenty years of experience working with Buyers, Sellers, and Buiders.  They have been involved in many, many transactions, obtained quite a few listings, showed vast number of houses, called quite a few lenders, inspectors and appraisers and given numerous tours of Pullman and the vicinity.

I look forward to hearing their stories, their advice and their take on the present market and its condition.  I have been in the business for almost five years now and I must say that some of my greastest lessons have been given by these wonderful sources of knowledge.  I’ve heard it’s a cycle and that what we are currently facing with financing, and the fluctuating market values has existed in the past.  What will these guests share?

I believe it will be a great meeting.  I look forward to listening to what our GUESTS have to say and learning from our MENTORS!

Memories of a Lifetime!

It was a great visit!  My in laws traveled from England to visit us in our home in Pullman,WA.  Although, they were only here a week, it was a memorable time for all.  They visited WSU, we took them to Costco, ate yummy meals at Swilly’s and the Breakfast Club and shopped at our local Palouse Mall.  We laughed, chatted, and reminisced.  It was a super time!

Now they’re off to visit other family in Brazil.  My daughter was sad the day they left.  She wanted them to stay longer and less time in Brazil.  It was great watching her as she spent special time with her grandparents.  I smiled as I heard her giggle with her Grampi and I saw her play cards with her Grandma.  Those are memories that she will always have.  Those are the special moments I will never forget.

And now, they’ve left.  We look forward to the time they come back or we can go to England to visit.  I wish them a glorious time in Brazil, and cherish the time they spent with us in Pullman, WA!
